Dogs, and specially Berneses, are a great part of my everyday life, this is because I study Veterinary Medicine, I'm a Dog Handler at dog shows, I do Show grooming and baths to client's dogs and in the future I pretend to be a Dog  Show judge, that's why it is not strange that I am the person who works on every aspect of my dogs: from grooming and bathing, to training and handling, breeding management, whelping and socializing the puppies, etc.
       
         My dogs are my home's pets first, show dogs second, so this means they live and share with my family and live in my backyard and are closely in touch with me everyday. I make sure that they live a "Dogs" life, so they have plenty of fun at dog parks, family trips and every time they don't have shows they are happy, dirty dogs.
        
         Since 2008 I've been working towards the creation of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club in my country; we hare in the first part of the process, organizing reunions, sharing information booklets about the breed and making people more interested in Dog Shows, more participative in the breed. In 2007 we had around 4 dogs in the ring, and by 2010 that number is now 10-15. Meetings have gathered near 35 berners and more. Hopefully this will all be good for the betterment of the breed. To top it we had the first Bernese Specialty in Chile in October 2011, which gathered around 30 berners! We look forward to the Club to come up soon.
       
         For me, breeding and living my life next to my dogs is the most satisfactory journey, and it is a journey that I have the luck to share with many people who have helped and have been part of it: I have to thank the unconditional support and the help of my boyfriend Fernando Burgos, which I got to know through dog shows thanks to the berneses, and with whom I have shared and learned all about dogs and shows and breeding, he has helped in everything related to my dogs and as been the best company..Also I would like to thank my family for standing all my dog madness, cheering my winnings and my losings, and every person who has helped me achieve all the great things we have accomplished till know. Lastly but not less important, I have to thank my wonderful dogs..they are the best companions, always eager to go with me in any adventure, show etc, giving all they have to achieve the best.. and they are the best!​
